Crab fry

Crab fry is a very simple and easy to prepare it is a fragrant medley of spices and aromatics. Its spicy punch is set off deliciously by the sweet crab meat. The crab with its outer hard shell and inner flesh forms a great combination, when it mixes with the masala.

 500 g Crab
 1 Onion (medium)
 3 Dried red chillies
 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
 1 tbsp Turmeric
 1 tbsp Coriander seeds powder
 ½ tbsp Black Pepper
 Curry leaves
 Salt
 3 tbsp Oil

Boil 2 cups of water in a vessel, when water comes to boil, add enough salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder to it. Add the crabs to boiling water and cook for 3-5 minutes, drain the water and keep crabs aside

Heat the oil in a pan firstly add curry leaves then onions, red chillies and salt saute till onions turns brown in colour. Add then add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute. Next add black pepper and coriander powder. Fry this mixture until oil separates from the masala and most of the moisture has evaporated.

Add the crab pieces, Toss everything together for about 5 minutes till all the crab pieces are well coated with masala.
Mouth-watering crab fry is ready to serve.
