Chicken Biryani

Chicken Biryani is a flavourful Indian dish with fragrance of Indian spices. Rice and Chicken is a tasty classic combo and served with raita

 0.50 kg Chicken
 2 tbsp Apple cinder vineger
 4 tbsp Curd
 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
 2 tbsp Chicken Masala
 2 tbsp Coriander seeds powder
 1 tbsp Turmeric
 Salt, Chilly Powder
 3 tbsp Oil/Ghee
 2 cups Basmathi Rice
 0.50 cup Mint/Pudina
 2 Onion
 3 Green Chillies
 2 Tomatoes
 1 tbsp Biriyani Masala
 3 cups Water
 2 tbsp Gingergarlic paste
 Salt, Chilly Powder
 4 Cardamoms/Elachi
 4 Clovws/Lavang
 1 Star anise/Chakri pool
 3 Cinnamon/Dalchini 1 inch
 1 Strand mace/Javitri
 2 Bay Leaf/Tej Patta Large

Cut chicken into medium sized cubes and wash it with running water. Take chicken into a bowl and add curd, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, chicken masala, coriander seeds powder, salt, chilly powder and mix them well. Keep in refrigerator about 30 minutes

Chop onions, tomato, chilies, coriander leaves, curry leaves ,pudina/mint and keep it a side. Take all the masala ingredients cardamoms/elachi, cloves/lavang, star anise/chakri pool cinnamon/dalchini, inchstrand mace/javitri, bay leaf/tej patta

Take a pan and heat the oil/ghee add ginger garlic paste and then add all spices along with Onion, Chilies, Curry Leaves, Tomato and stir it well

Take out the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and add to the mix in the pan and stir it well

Add 3 cups of water and add Salt, Chilly Powder, Biryani Masala and stir it well and add Basmathi Rice and don't stir it so that we can get layered Chicken Biryani.

Add chopped coriander leaves and let it cook for 20 minutes

Chicken biryani can be served with raita, Chicken pulusu, Mutton fry
