Erra karam chutney is popular in Andhra region mainly in Kadapa, Nellore, Prakasam. It is also know as red chutney which can be easily prepared by using only three main ingredients Onion, Red Chillies, Garlic
Peel and roughly chop the onion and add garlic
Now add red chillies to onions and garlic
Add salt and water blend it to a smooth paste, red chutney is ready.
Erra karam can be served with Idly, Dosa, Bonda
Erra karam can be smeared in circular motion on dosa known as Yerra karam dosa
