 1 Cinnamon/Dalchini
 3 Cloves/Laung
 1 Bay Leaf/Tej Patta
 3 Cardamom/Elachi
For Gravy
 3 tbsp Oil/Butter
 1 Onion(Medium)
 3 Tomatoes(Large)
 3 Red Chillies
 1 Bay Leaf
 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
 Salt
For Paneer butter masala
 2 tbsp Butter
 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
 250 g Paneer
 1 tbsp Red chilly powder
 2 tbsp Cream
 2 tbsp Honey(Optional)

Take 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and saute paneer cubes for about 3 to 4 minutes in medium heat for crunchy texture and this step is optional

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan in medium heat. Once hot add Bay leaf, chopped onions and sprinkle pinch of salt and cook till the onion becomes transparent add chopped tomatoes, Red chillies and let them cook soft and then add turmeric powder cook for a minute

Turn off the stove and let it cool down and make it a smooth paste. If needed add some water if required

In the same pan heat butter in medium flame. Add whole spices saute for a minute and add ginger garlic paste saute till the raw smell vanishes. Now add onion tomato mixture and add salt, garam masala and honey cook until it becomes a thick paste

Add cream and paneer cubes and mix for 2 minutes now paneer butter masala is ready to serve
Paneer butter masala can be served with Chapati, Paratha, Roti, Naan
